Kitzbühel

Kitzbühel is considered one of the most important winter sports centres in Austria at the foot of the Hahnenkamm (1,712 m) and the Kitzbüheler Horn (1,996 m). Together with the ski slopes and lifts in neighbouring Kirchberg in Tirol, Jochberg and at Pass Thurn, Kitzbühel boasts one of the largest interconnected ski areas in Austria.

Holidaymakers in Kitzbühel have 148 kilometres of pistes at their disposal in the local ski area, plus 40 kilometres of cross-country ski trails for cross-country skiers. In summer there are 120 km to explore by mountain bike and 500 km with hiking boots. The other attractions are the six tennis courts and four golf courses, the Kitzbühel swimming pool, Austria's only curling hall and the Schwarzsee lake.
